Earlier in the year 2016, Akshara co-produced and co- directed and performed a in curated play called 'Conversation with Her', with a host of talented, young actors of Bangalore.

Followed by this, she co-produced the 'Shakespeare Theatre Festival', along with Phoenix Entertainment and Moly Media. The festival saw four Shakespearean clown adaptations - 'Hamlet', 'Macbeth', 'King Lear' and 'As you like it' directed by Rajat Kapoor and featuring established cinema & theatre actors such as Vinay Pathak, Kalki Koechlin, Ranveer Shorey and Cyrus Sahukar to name a few; and played to full houses at Chowdiah Memorial Hall in Bangalore. 

In December 2016, Akshara curated 'The Indian Classical Arts Festival' as the Festival Director, to mark the Silver Jubilee Year celebration of The Structural School of Fine Arts. The festival featured both Karnatik and Hindustani music; and all the eight Indian Classical Dances -Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Manipuri, Odissi and Sattriya- from some of the most sought after artists of the city. Aimed to be an educational endeavour, the morning sessions of this three-day festival saw seminars, symposiums and lecture demonstrations. Apart from the performing artists, over fifty artists, Gurus, Scholars and Teachers from across the city were felicitated on this occasion for their relentless service towards the arts.

To mark International Dance Day 2017, Akshara conducted a day-long 'Children's Classical Dance Festival' on 29th April. 150 children under the age of 15, from over 15 institutes of Bangalore performed Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathak and Odissi dance styles.

In August 2017, Akshara inaugurated the first edition of 'TarangaRanga', a monthly concert series under the aegis of The Structural School of Fine Arts and Bharadwaj Foundation for the Arts, to showcase and provide platforms the Performing Arts talents. This series completed 25 Programs in 2019.
